Elite Snagging

Making Change

Elite Snagging is a home evaluation company. Their aim is to change the way new-build handovers are delivered by raising the bar for new-build inspections and snag lists.

The Brief

Elite Snagging came to me with their business idea after receiving a rather substantial business start-up loan. After conducting market research they saw demand in the new build home snagging industry. They discovered that those who were undertaking home evaluations in the Cheshire area were traveling far from outside of Cheshire, they were constantly overwhelmed with the number of jobs they had on, and the long distance travel made jobs even more difficult.

Elite Snagging wanted to cater locally to the areas within Cheshire due to it being close to home and because there are many existing new build development sites.

What, How & Why

Their initial plans for building their brand evolved around creating a website that stood out and portrayed a clear message of what, how, and why they were there. Having values as a driving force meant that they could cater to, and relate to their customers’ pain points. Whilst providing expert knowledge and opinions for each snag they conducted.

The Results

The results are a beautifully designed website that is already drawing in customers. The website has been built on the foundation of Elementor Pro, which makes it extremely easy to self-manage. On top of this, I have trained several team members from Elite snagging on the basics of WordPress, how to make changes to pages, updating content and copy, and uploading blog posts. This means that future costs will be much lower due to not requiring a third-party web developer to make minor changes. The website is incredibly accessible, even for those with little or no WordPress knowledge. This is how websites should be created!

Challenges

Many subjects such as business management, accounting, and others were primed, but Multiverse’s digital marketing apprenticeships were still in their infancy.

Due to the small coaching team and already more than one hundred digital marketing apprentices, presentation modules and assignments were being created as they became needed.

Immediately after joining Multiverse, I had many tasks that needed to be completed with urgency. This was slightly challenging, but luckily I coped quite well as I really enjoy and thrive in fast-paced environments, much of the necessities were accomplished without many hiccups.

The Results

Four new digital marketing coaches (six total) using six brand new curriculum compliant presentation modules, each modernised to appeal to a younger audience, and with their own post-module assignments and additional homework assignments every three modules.

Train a trainer sessions followed as a way to upskill the existing coaches on the new content. I also temporarily onboarded, coached, handed out assignments, marked assignments, and conducted employment reviews for any new digital marketing apprentices, as well as relieved current coaches of some of their cohorts. Additionally, I guided Multiverse’s in-house marketing team on cluster content optimisation for the company blog.
